Installation of control panel, connection & testing of cabling, ATEX inspection and commissioning for polyurethane manufacturer.
Electroserv Involvement
Pre-works
- Demolition of old equipment in the control room to clear space for the new control panel (triple panel) for 3-off reactors but only 2-reactors are being upgraded on this project.
- Install ‘free-issue’ control panel and secure into position.
- Run new containment from the control room each skid position.
- Run electrical cabling (for drives).
- Run instrument cabling (for controls).
- Install local isolators for the drives.
Installation
- Installation of skids by others.
- Connect all cabling from drawing supplied (25 instruments and 1 Drive on each skid)
- Test all cabling connections (point to point).
- Label all cables to the drawing.
- Carry out ATEX inspections of all wiring and equipment.
Commissioning
- Standby for power up of each skid.
- Rectify any wiring issues.
- Carry out any re-inspections.
Handover
- Handover all paperwork, amendments.
