Q. What is your role at Electroserv?

A. Service business controller.

Q. What does your day-to-day role involve?

A. My days are rarely the same; however, my primary responsibility is directing, coordinating, and overseeing the service team. This includes managing their workload, ensuring it’s to a high quality and supporting them with any issues. Delivering an excellent customer experience by optimising the resources to meet the customer needs efficiently whilst maintaining the desired service business performance.

Q. What experience do you need for your role?

A. In my years of experience, I have had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the industry and developing my expertise in the field. But I believe that if your goals align with the company values, mission, and commit yourself to continuous learning and development. You will be an asset to the team, and it will allow you to succeed within the role.

Q. Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years?

In 3-5 years, I see myself as an integral part of a company, someone who has helped contribute to the growth and success of the organisation. I’d like to further develop my leadership and management skills, enhancing my knowledge to work in a challenging and a more senior position, where I can make an impact and help others to succeed.

Q. What do you enjoy about your job?

A. The best part of my job is the collaborative environment and the opportunity to work with a talented and supportive team. Also, the opportunity to constantly learn and grow. I’m exposed to new challenges regularly, which helps me develop both professionally and personally.

Q. What would you say to women wanting to work in a company/industry that is traditionally male dominated?
