On Saturday 12th October, instrument, measurement and control specialist Electroserv celebrated 50 years in business with a festival style afternoon at the new Fanzone event space at Stoke City Football Club.
Employees, their family and friends were invited to celebrate 50 years of Electroserv whilst enjoying entertainment from a four piece band, DJ, stilt walkers, a magician and dance performances. Guests could participate in festival type activities including hook a duck, rollabingo, splat the rat and crazy golf. There was a choice of food from a street food vendor, gourmet burger van and sweet treat desserts as well as drinks from a fully stocked bar and coffee van.
Employees were invited to the stage to take part in a spin the wheel competition where they could win big prizes including an extra day annual leave, flights vouchers and spa days and for a bit of fun some booby prizes including packaging tape, a food flask and a ream of paper.
Special guest Iain Cropper, Managing Director at Endress + Hauser UK, and Simon Fisher, Managing Director at Electroserv took to the stage for an insightful Q&A session around the long established and successful partnership between Electroserv and Endress + Hauser.
Simon Fisher, Managing Director at Electroserv, said: “The event was a huge success! We wanted an event that was fun for all ages and allowed our dedicated employees to share a part of their work life with their family members and friends. After all, we couldn’t be who we are today without their support.”

Electroserv was established in 1974 and since then has provided engineering
solutions in the field of process control instrumentation. The business has seen significant growth over recent years and key milestones include:
- Office move in 2012 from a small office in Macclesfield town centre to Lyme Green Business Park.
- Gained UKAS 17025 accreditation for calibration services in 2019.
- 6 figure investment into calibration and service hub in South of England in 2022.
- Collaboration with Endress+Hauser on calibration services and flagship wet flow calibration rig.
- Further 6 figure investment in new premises Guildford House, Lyme Green Business Park, Macclesfield (new Head Office location) in 2024.
- Selection by Global Electric Thermal Solutions manufacturer, Watlow to be the UK’s Prime Distributor of Eurotherm and Watlow branded products.
- Increased number of employees from 3 to 40 .
